Why should I choose to work with Locum Link and not a competitor?

How can I ensure that I am in a good position to maximize my opportunities?

Ensure that you constantly update the agency with your availability. This can be done via email, telephone or text message and will ensure that as vacancies become available you are promptly put forward for the position.

Can I work as a full time Locum through the agency?

Yes, our agency has numerous full time Locums who provide a service to various locations across the province, allowing them the flexibility to work hours that suit their personal life etc

Who do I contact outside of office hours should I have an issue?

When can I expect payment for work completed?

Remuneration will be paid by us on receipt of your completed timesheets. Timesheets must be signed by an authorised representative (i.e. Consultant, Consultant of Dentistry or Senior member of the Trust). Payroll is processed weekly on Friday, funds will reach your bank with 12 hours.

When are my timesheets required by the agency for payment to be processed?

Completed timesheets which have been authorised by a representative (i.e. Consultant, Consultant of Dentistry, Senior member of the Trust) must reach our payroll team no later than 12 noon on Thursday.

How quickly will I receive my first assignment upon completion of the registration process?

Once your registration process has been completed, please ensure the agency is aware of your availability, To enable us to respond promptly to opportunities when we are advised of them

Can I withdraw consent for my details to be held by Locum Link?

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right at any time to request a copy of the personal information we hold on you. What details do Locum Link require if I wish to register?

If you refer to the registration page on the website, this will provide you with the registration form which you will be required to complete and in return we will forward you our registration pack which will detail everything you need to do in order to start working with us.

I am having issues with my criminal (Enhanced Access NI) checks – can Locum Link help?

Will I meet anyone from Locum Link during the registration process?

A member of the Locum Link team will be happy to meet you at a location convenient to you to talk you through the registration process and to give you a little information about our team and what services we will provide you and the services we provide.

Once I have completed my registration form, how do I get it to Locum Link?

You can post your registration application to Locum Link, 26 Market Street, Lurgan BT66 6AQ by registered post or should you like, a member of the team will be happy to come and collect your registration application personally.

How long will it take for the entire process to be completed?

We will endeavour to get your registration processed as quickly as possible, with the average registration taking between 1-3 weeks. On occasion, references and criminal checks can prove to be a little slow but we are happy to help you in any way possible to ensure your registration with us is smooth and speedy.

I have left a message on live chat and no-one has responded?

Our live chat service is available 24 hours a day, however, on occasion we may not be in a position to respond immediately but will endeavour to answer your query as soon as possible.
